By the time we hit Eaton Rapids, we were looking for a coffee. Found this nice coffee shop in a nice looking vintage building. And the coffee was great!

While heading towards home from the Bridge Park, heading again down the backroads we wandered upon this quaint little cemetery. It appears some one is doing some needed maint. This cemetery has a great view of Narrow Lake.

Part of the Calhoun County Parks is this fantastic park. The park is off of Michigan Avenue just south of Battle Creek. It’s well worth taking a look. In the summer this would be a fantastic place for a picnic. The only thing that make the park any better would be to have a sign telling the history of each bridge. While we were there, we only saw one sign. Still a great park.

You will find this hobby gas station a couple of miles south of Portland. Wonder if they serve gas at oldtime prices?

We would like to thank Morgan and her wonderful mom for getting us down in this beautiful area of Michigan.

The welcome mat.

A wonderfully kept building owned by a gentleman whose family takes pride in building restoration.

After being moved from Adrian, this building was restored and is now used as the Blissfield Museum.

An environmentally safe gas pump behind the Blissfield MiniMart.

A trestle over the River Raisin.

The pride of Blissfield from a different era.

I want to know how they landed this here?

One does not see these very often.

Your carriage awaits!
