Blissfield
We would like to thank Morgan and her wonderful mom for getting us down in this beautiful area of Michigan.
The welcome mat.

A wonderfully kept building owned by a gentleman whose family takes pride in building restoration.

After being moved from Adrian, this building was restored and is now used as the Blissfield Museum.

An environmentally safe gas pump behind the Blissfield MiniMart.
A trestle over the River Raisin.

The pride of Blissfield from a different era.

I want to know how they landed this here?

One does not see these very often.

Your carriage awaits!

Walkerville
You can’t buy gas at Walkerville, but you can buy milk, chips and a soda.

Appears to have been a gas station and store at one time. Across the road from the Walkerville Store.

There is a Walkerville in Oceana County. This Walkerville is in southeast Shiawassee County. Our maps don’t show this one, so……… wondering how it got the name. This Walkerville is located at the corner of Bancroft Road and Braden Road.

Port Huron
What trip to Port Huron would be complete without stopping by one of the riverside parks and watching a Great Lakes Freighter or two.

The Blue Water Bridge to Canada.

A view of the riverfront from Pinegrove Park. Must be rough living in one of the houses.

Ringwood Forest - Brant
For a walk in the woods or just a picnic, this park is great. The park is located west of M52, south of St. Charles, north of Chesaning, and northeast of Brant. The feature of the park is the beautiful trees and the southern branch of the Bad River that flows through the park.

Below you will find the marker located along the trails.

And a look at the trees.

Backroads Max with his owner Sean along the trails.

Features majestic spruce trees, three miles of hiking trails, cross country ski trail, with a pavilion, canoe launch and fishing sites.
Location:
Corner of Ring Rd and S. Fordney Rd.
St. Charles, MI
